Fibroids are benign tumors on the uterus. As many as 50% of women experience them at some point of their lives. Fibroids rarely cause any major problems for those who have them. That is why they are often left unnoticed.
If symptoms occur, they will normally be; heavy menstrual bleeding, prolonged menstruation, pelvic pain, bladder problems, constipation, or back pain. Sometimes, they are discovered only after a physician notices them while doing a pelvic exam or by having an ultrasound performed.
Acupuncture is one option to treat fibroids in uterus. However, it is not yet commonly used
