Cravings, don't fight them
Everybody has cravings, but that doesn't mean you have to give into all of them. You can control your cravings better if you allow yourself to occasionally give into them. If you constantly deny yourself, it will make your chance of success less likely to happen.
If you are having a craving for chocolate, getting carrot sticks is not going to make you feel better. Keep some mini chocolate bars in the house
