Reki reached popularity in the early part of the last century, approximately around Nineteen twenty two. Dr Mikao Usui, after many years of study established reki as providing spiritual healing therapy. It originated in Japan, but such is its popularity, it is now practised all over the world. Don’t however; think about this being some present day phenomenon, as records show reki was practised way back to 4000 years ago.
Reiki is split up into two words; Rei which suggests unseen or spiritual, and Ki which means life force or energy. Out of this we can deduce that reiki could be the
